security at their headquarters because the spblgt used to be one of their own. christopher dorner is wanted in multiple shootings spanning six days. the 33-year-old said he's declaring war with the lapd after losing his job. according to his late and rambling manifesto, he wants to revenge until his name is clear. he writes the violence of action will be high. i will bring unconventional and asymmetrical warfare. dorner is accused of killing a couple and shooting at two police officers killing one of them. his vehicle was found in the big bear area, so far no sign of the man police describe as armed and dangerous. nbc's stephanie stanton has more from los angeles. >> reporter: this burned out truck belonging to suspect christopher dorner was found in the mountains two miles east of los angeles. but dorner himself was nowhere to be found. >> dorner is considered armed and extremely dangerous. >> reporter: dorner posted aing lengthy manifesto on facebook detailing threats against police officers he intended to kill. dorner claims he was treated unfairly when fired from the l.a. police departm

happened in riverside at about 1:30 this morning. police told us that two officers on routine patrol, riverside police officers, were ambushed by the suspect dorner. now, separate from that, earlier this evening, in corona, california or earlier last evening, i should say, an lapd officer on patrol, apparently leaving the freeway. this is according to the lapd, was shot, grazed in the head. if you look at the manifesto from dorner, we can call this a hit list of lapd officers, who he was upset with. basically, it's believed that he is now trying to exact a measure of revenge against all of the people who somehow angered him. and in reading the manifesto, he alluded to being fired. he said terminating me for telling the truth about a caucasian officer kicking a mentally ill person is disgusting. a mentally ill man. a lot of other clues in the manifesto. he was talking about some of his military background, and he said that, you are aware i was always the top shot and the highest scorer and expert in rifle qualifications in every unit. and he goes on to say, i will utilize every bit of

for a highly at areas of eastern new england. for us, we're on the southern tail of all this. still, we'll feel the effects with big wind. look at the advisories up for a significant amount of snow that's expected to fall in areas of eastern new england, around boston, massachusetts and connecticut and high winds as well so they've got the blizzard warning that's been posted areas of eastern massachusetts and connecticut. newark almost an inch. caldwell in new jersey, 3 inches of snowfall in yonkers just over 2 as well. in that pocket of boston and through areas of connecticut even, a blizzard warning where they could see a foot to upward of 2 feet of snow. here's what they're expecting up through here. again, the higher snowfall amounts, the bull's-eye right there had. we'll be on the tail end of it all. still again, it's wind for us and the storm system, again, ramping up. look at radar right now. there's the area of low pressure moving up the coast and that other little piece sweeping in to meet up with it. an area of low pressure that will really allow this system to intensify. on our radar
